Your CommentsHi.

We are looking for somehow hocking up a button that will tell the programmed key on a keyboard to do several key strokes.

We no that the Logitech G15 keyboard is able to do this by setting up a G key to do several key strokes ( we need 11 strokes )

We also have a keywiz purchased from you that will by the push of a button do a keystroke but it wont allow us to program G keys.

Do you have any idea how to program a keywiz to do this or any one who would.

Or any other device that could be used for this application.

We are going to need at least 9 of these to start with so we need something that we can trial to see if it will work before buying 9 sets of equipment we don't need.

Thanks David

Hi Konvict think i'm starting to get a grip on this mame thing lol. Changed from using Mame XT32 to Mame plus plus seems to be more compatible with available roms, still can't seem to get Chase HQ running though. Seems everyone i know want's to get in on the act. Anyway some info on frontends would be cool when time allows. Take it easy Konvict keep up the good work

Thanks Andy, I have been trying to keep the posts updated but hard to juggle work, uni & other hobbies with this. I will be trying to post more up. Is there anything you would like to know more about in particular?

Thanks for visiting and hope you come back soon.

Your Comments Thanks for creating this informative site, i'm new to all this mame stuff but i'm learning all the time. It's such a buzz to see all these classic games appear on your computer monitor, It completely freaked out my best mate Tony when Outrun started up lol. Keep up all the good work, and thanks again.

@Viciousx - I used a variation of Koenigs control panel. Instead I measured all the buttons and position them equally from the center of the panel.

I did have to play around with button configuration but it really is something you need to draw out on your material.

Here is a link to the upright control panel artwork. This is what I was able to use for button layouts.

http://www.koenigs.dk/mame/cp.pdf

There is also some other good resources here: http://www.koenigs.dk/mame/eng/draw.htm

Hope that helps.

@Xtrasc564 - The control panel can get scratched, however you cant really see the scratches with artwork underneath. Just be careful...
